After a short stint at Saratoga Raceway, trainer Candace Brandstatter put Fox Valley Charliz back in at Monticello Raceway were she picked up where she left off and returned to her winning ways by winning by a nose the $6,900 Filly and Mares Open in 1:57.1 – $9.40 for driver Brandon Parker over Moonlightandroses (McGwire Sowers) and Keene Olivia (Mike Merton) Candace Brandstatter had 2 winners on the day with the other being Lacarmeliliana 1:58.1 – $4.00.

Driver Greg Merton had the hottest set of hands today by winning 3 races on the afternoon, Brandon Parker put together a driving double and Team Sowers won 2 with Sweet Ginger – 1:58.2 -$4.10 and Dirtylittlelies 1:59.2 – $38.80.
