Young Blood rules the day

The next generation of upcoming trainers and drivers where show casing their talent on Thursday March 10 at Monticello Raceway, Brandon Parker won 3 on the day, Cory Stratton enjoyed a double and Candace Brandstatter had a training double.

Brandon Parker started out the day on a high note winning the first race with Heavens Challenge in 2:00.4, next up came the 27-1 longshot Thetruthaboutdavid in 1:59.4- $55.00 and finished the day in the last race aboard Midnight Shark for trainer John Stubits and owner Joe – Kathy Rea of Monticello, NY in 1:59.1.

Cory Stratton won back to back races with Fox Valley Skynyrd in 1:57.1-$6.30 for trainer Candace Brandstatter and came right back with a catch drive aboard Sporty Redhot in a wire to wire score in 1:58.4

Brandstatters other win came with Ready Set Rock, Mcgwire Sowers handled the driving, Candace is the 2^nd leading dash winning trainer with 18 wins, Bo Sowers has a commanding lead with 25 winners hailing from his stable.
