The team of Jim Taggart Jr & Gary Messenger had a triple this afternoon, they wasted no time by taking the first race with Onemoreswan who notched his 4th win of the year. ER Sophia went down the road to win by 3 lengths in the first heat of the $7,300 Open Trot in 1:59.2 for her second win of the season. Taggart used pretty much the same tactic in the other Open Trot and played catch me if you can with Chip Chip Conway, the favorite scored in 1:58.1
Today’s card also had 2 dashes of the North American Amateur Driving Association, in the first division it was Jimmy Dean in a wire to wire win for driver Anthony Verruso in 2:04 and Alan Schwartz took the other heat with Awol Hanover.
Bo Sowers had a pair of winner with Big N Bad 1:57 – $36.20 and in the North American Amateur Driving Association with Awol Hanover with Alan Schwartz 2:02.1 – $4.80.
