Shane Taggart and Bruce Aldrich score Triples

On a cold and wet Thursday afternoon Shawn Taggart and Bruce Aldrich Jr. each enjoyed a banner day with 3 winning drives on the 9 race card. Shane’s first trip to the winner’s circle came with a wire to wire win aboard Bettors Western in 2:01 for trainer Anthony Regina.  Heaven’s Superstar broke the tote board, the 34-1 longshot took the overland route in the sloppy going to score in 2:00.2 for a $71.00 win ticket, Shane and his wife Amy Lynn own and train the 4-year-old son of Rock N Roll Heaven.  Next up was Southern Swan, Shane also train him for owner Domenic Longobardi, starting from post 2, he scored a 4 length romp in the slop in 2:01 over Book Binge.

Bruce Aldrich Jr and Laura Perino also teamed up for a triple on the card, Aldrich – Perino took both halves of the early double with Iwillmakeyousaywow 1:58.3 – Blue Line 2:00.4 and then came back with Noble Woody 2:01 -2:001.  Peter Mele won with Sir Machalot in 2:01 – $6.60.
