Starting from Post position 8, Mike Merton played catch me if you can with the Chris Petrelli trainee and scored a wire to wire win in 1:57 – $7.60, finishing second was a fast closing Fox Valley Charliz (John Desimone) and Aberdeen Seelster (Bruce Aldrich)
