The Vernon based Sir Real Games returned to Monticello Raceway, on March 30 the 3-year-old son of So Surreal won his Qualifying race in 1:59.1 in his first start of his 3 YO campaign. This afternoon Trainer – Driver George Harrison started from post position 3 scored in a wire to wire win in 1:59.4 – $4.40 for his second win of the young season. Sir Real Games is owned by Fran Mazza of New Hartford NY & Edmund and Carol Nomiotka of Baldwinsville, NY. The 61-year-old native of Verona NY, Harrison plans to race his colt in the New York Sire Stakes Excelsior A class this spring an s summer.
Team Sowers was well represented on the card as proud father Bo Sowers saw both his daughter and son drive winners McKenzie Sowers drove a horse that she owns Avogadro Hanover 2:02.1 -$40.20 who is trained by Marianna Monaco and Mac drove Pennys Spirit in 2:00.1 -$65.50.
