JB Mauney N repeats in the Open Pace

This afternoons Open Pace saw JB Mauney N win his fourth consecutive race and 3 in a row in Open Company. The short field consisted of 5 pacers, no surprise JB Mauney N went for the lead and reeled off splits of 27.4, 57.4 with the field in straight alignment at the half. Approaching the 5/8 pole Meadowbrook Raider and Nui Ba Den N took a shot at the pacesetter at they hit the next panel in 1:26.2 to no avail as JB Mauney N had 2 lengths at the top of the lane and keep the margin to the wire in 1:54.3. Trevor One (Bruce Aldrich Jr.) was second with a fast closing Nui Ba Den N (Brandon Parker) taking the show spot.

JB Mauney N is owned by the Harmon Racing Stable, Diamond Racing Stable, Lightning 5 Racing Stable and Lisa Devidowich, the son of American Ideal is trained by Rob Harmon and was driven to victory by Mike Merton.
