Chindano wasted no time in getting on the board, after finishing second in the first race he came right back in the second and scored with the 24-1 Windsun Shiraz 1:59.1- $50.00. Still riding the wave, he won with Just Wave Goodbye 1:58.3- $13.00 in the third.
His other winners were, Mister Spot A 1:55.1 – $2.70 in the fifth race turning back Masterson and in the finale aboard Random Hanover. Chindanos biggest race of the day came the Open Pace, making just his second start at the Mighty M, Random Hanover was an impressive winner last week in a conditioned event, Race Secretary Eric Warner thought he was good enough for the Open ranks and he was correct in that assumption. Feelin American was the first to the wood when the gate sprung and had the lead at the opening stanza, but not for long. Random Hanover took the lead and never looked back and was well in hand through the mile to win handily by 3 in 1:54.4 – $3.00. Third, win on the year, 2 in a row and a new lifetime mark in the process for trainer Amanda Arrigenna. Hestons Lucky Chip (Aldrich Jr.) finished second followed by Barnabas (Taggart).
Papillion (Greg Merton) lowered his lifetime mark to 1:59.2 today for trainer Nick Divita, Air Ride broke his maiden for Peter Pellegrino, the son of Luck Be With You scored in 2:00.
