The Brothers Taggart had the hot hand this afternoon, the tandem accounted for 3 winners on the day. The triple started in the first race with Heavens Superstar 1:57 – $7.50 who cut some wicked early fractions of 27.3, 56, 1:24.3 and held on for the win. Next was, Southern Swan 1:57.1 – $4.60 who notched his fourth win on the year and set a seasonal record. The Taggart Brothers closed out the afternoon with Banderas Hanover 1:56.4- $4.10 for his fourth win on the season.

The 3 wins for Shane ties in him in third position with Andrew Adamczyk with 21 wins, the triple for Jim gives him 73, trailing the leader Mike Merton by 4 wins.
