Mac Sowers gets a Driving & Training Double

So far this season Mcgwire Sowers is putting together a very nice resume, this afternoon he had a pair of doubles on both the driving and training side of the ledger.  Currently he is in seventh place for leading dash winners with 39 wins, on the training side he now tied for second place with Shane Taggart with 25 wins, both of them are hot on the heels of leader Laura Aldrich.

Sowers wins started with Shooting Brooke, who left strongly from post 6, got the lead past the opening panel, and led every step of the way in 1:57 – $8.00.  Next up was Shes A Sassy Beach, she sat the pocket behind the co-favorite Play To The Crowd and unleashed a final quarter of 28.1 to seal the deal by a length in 1:57 – 3.40.

Warrawee Yima (Paquet Jr.) finally got to the winners circle after finishing second 5 times and third once in his young career, he scored in 2:03.4 – $3.60, the 3-year-old son of Walner is trained by Nick DiVita.

This afternoons 7 Race Card handled $539,456, with a per race average of $77.1.
