Da Boogie Man was not scared of his 6 other contemporaries and crushed his adversaries to win by a commanding 9 length’s in this afternoons first of 2 Open Trotting Events.  The Jon Berube trained son of RC Royalty started his attack at the half and came first over after the front-runner Freddie Mac cut the mile. Heading down the backside Da Boogie Man began to crush the field, widening his lead at every split, tripping the beam in 1:59.2 – $6.10 to earn his third win on the year, he was driven by his regular pilot Justin Huckabone, Freddie Mac )Devaux) took the place spot with Brutal Storm (Sowers) was third.

In the other division Chip Chip Conway never got muddy, starting from post 6 the 3/5 favorite got the lead just past the opening panel and cruised home well in hand to the 2-length victory for the regular team of Jim Taggart Jr. and Gary Messenger in 2:00.1 – $3.30.
