Justin Huckabone has the Hot Hand – Ralph Silvestri III gets win #100

The high temperatures and humidity were not the only thing that was hot this afternoon, Justin Huckabone nailed 4 wins on the muggy afternoon.

In typical take no prisoners fashion, all of Huckabones wins were on the front end in wire to wire scores.  The 4-bagger started with Stonebridge Rocks 1:56.3 – $4.50 in the second race, it was the first win on the year for the Al Annunziata trainee.  In the next race it was Caviart Stetson 1:55.4 – 9.80 from post 4, who earned his fifth seasonal win for trainer Basil Aldrich Jr. After a 3-race hiatus, Huckabone drove the tall son of American Ideal, Chantepleure in a 1:55.1 – $26.40 score for Team Devaux for his second consecutive win on the year.  He rounded out the card with Bass Player in race 7 in 1:56.1 $3.60, the 9-year-old is trained by Marianna Monaco, who earned his third win of the year.

In the fifth race the 33 year old reinsman race driver Ralph Silvestri III notched his 100 career driving win in style aboard Little Admiral in a 1:56.3 dead heat with Sammy B Happy giving Dawn Devaux 2 training wins on the 9 race card.
