Daamericansky gets # 11

This week of Open Pacers saw a full field of 8 behind the gate, to no one’s surprise Daamericansky, driven by Justin Huckabone blasted off the gate and tripped every beam on the lead.  He had 3 lengths on the pack at the opening panel in a swift 27, the lead was trimmed at the half in 55.3, after a 28.3 second quarter. First to pull down the back side was Trevors Ace (F. Paquet) who made a challenge on the leader as they hit the next panel in 1:25. Down the lane is looked like Daamericansky was starting to tire as Trevors Ace made him work for the win in 1:54.2 – $6.40. Trevors Ace was second followed by Air Guitar (G. Merton) Daamericansky is owned by Melvin Fink of Bloomfield Hills MI.  For trainer Andrew Adamczk the win was his 42^nd of the year, surpassing McGwire Sowers for third place for leading dash winning trainers. With the win, Daamericansky is now tied with Chip Chip Conway, trailing the leader Play To The Crowd who has 12 wins on the year

In other racing action. Shooting Brooke (J. Taggart Jr.) notched her third consecutive win this afternoon for trainer Johnny DeSimone, equaling her lifetime record of 1:55. Also scoring a three peat was Arianna Grandeo 1:57.1 for trainer Shane Taggart, the win gave Jim Taggart Jr a double on the race card. The 2 year old Page Six (M. Merton) broke his maiden in a 1:58.3 score for trainer Peter Pellegrino.
