The Jrs. Rule the Day

Bruce Aldrich Jr. and Jim Taggart Jr. dominated this afternoon October 23, between the 2, they won 6 of the 7 races, both scoring a driving triple.

Bruce started the day by taking both half’s of the early Daily Double aboard the Saratoga based La Charger 2:03.4 – $2.70 for trainer John Hallett and with Woodmere Jazz 1:58.4 – $2.60.  Bruce would also score aboard his very own Come Zoom With Me 1:58.1 – $3.20, for trainer Laura Aldrich.  Come Zoom With Me has now stringed together a 5 race win streak, eight win on the year, the 4 year old Roll With Joe mare is owned by Gary Haas of Bloomingburg, NY.  Laura Aldrich recently overtook Gary Messenger for the title of leading trainer, Laura had 2 training winners on the day.

Leading driver Jim Taggarts triple where with Meadowbrook Krista 1:57.3 – $3.60, Fun Time Charlie 2:01.3 – $5.10 and Ariana Grandeo 1:59.3 – $3.30.  At this point of the year it looks like Taggart will garner another driving tile, he currently leads the pack with 190 wins, Greg Merton is second with 154 wins and Mike Merton third with 141 trips to the winner circle.
