Jared Bako notches first Pari Mutual Driving win

This afternoon Jared Bako earned his first lifetime pari mutual driving win aboard Ideal Chance 1:57.2 – $8.40, the 6 year old Western Ideal gelding is owned and trained by Ashley Eldred, it was his second seasonal win.

On the training side of the ledge, Bako is no stranger to the winner circle, in his career he has amassed 318 wins as a trainer with total purses earned of $5,237.644 in 1500 starts.

All of the Merton brother, Greg, Mike and Tom all won races this afternoon, Thomas Merton had a pair of driving wins.  A newcomer on the Monticello Raceway scene Todd Smith had a training double.
