Christina Klein Notches First Career Training win

The newly minted Christina Klein earned his trainers license 2 months ago, today she notched her first career training win with her very own CR Dudley, the 4-year-old gelding made a sweeping move around the last turn with Rick Harp at the helm in 1:56.1 – $41.00 defeating Heston Lucky Chip.

Monticello Raceway Trotter of the Year, Chip Chip Conway padded his 2023 resume with win # 14 on the year with a wire-to-wire win over the pocket sitting Hot Summer Knight in 1:58.1 – $3.70.

In addition to Chip Chip Conway, leading driver Jim Taggart Jr. had 3 trips to the winner’s circle with Commondiscourtesy 1:58 – $3.60 for trainer Bob Lounsbury and Senterprise 2:00.1 – $11.80 for his brother Shane Taggart.

Doo Wop Kid threw down a big performance by virtue of a 14-length romp in 1:56.3, Mac Sowers enjoyed the ride for trainer Alan Schwartz.
