Chip Chip Conway Notches First Win of 2024

This week’s Open Trot was a Laissez faire event with not much action, the short field was in single file until coming off the third turn. Although he wasn’t 100% today, he still got the job done, after setting the tone with a trio of +/- 30 second quarters. Chip Chip Conway was able to hold off Doo Wop Kid (Devaux) by a head with a wire-to-wire score in the Open  in 2:00 – $4.20. Meadowbranch Ricky (T. Merton)

Jimmy Devaux & Jim Taggart Jr. each had a pair of wining drives and Mike Merton nabbed a trio of triumphs.
