The Merton brothers ruled the middle part of the card, with each brother Greg, Michael and Tommy all had winners on the day by the fifth race  At the end of the day Mike had 4 winners and Greg had a triple

Lady Jericho was the Queen of the Filly & Mares Open today after taking the lead from Pretty Gorgeous past the half and was able to hold off a fast chagrining Meadowbrook Krista in 1:57 – $3.70 with Mike Merton in the bike

Trainer Danny Gill had a triple and Laura Aldrich had a double Drivers Bruce and Fern Paquet Jr.  each had doubles
