The 5 YO Mare by Muscle Massive came into the race in sharp form with 2 wins in her last 3 starts. Starting from post 5, the mare was sitting fifth at the half before she engaged the pack and took the overland route to the victory over the tempo setting Skrill (J. Taggart) in 2:001. – $13.20 for her third seasonal win for trainer Robin Dibenedetto.

Donny (M. Merton) is a maiden no more by virtue of his 4-length win for trainer Rob Harmon in 2:01.2 $7.00, the son of Heston Blue Chip won his first pari mutual start.
