Fern Paquet Jr has seemed to found a home at the Mighty M, the 56 year old Paquet scored a driving triple this afternoon, moving up 2 spots in the Driver Standings, he is now tied in the fifth slot with Kyle Dibenedetto with 28 wins on the year.
Fern got on the board in the first race Vel Miss Taylor in 2:00.2 $4.00 for trainer Steven Moore, next up was Cinco Senorita in 1:58.2 – $13.20 for McKenzie Sowers. Paquet saved the best for last, winning the Filly & Mares Open with the Marianna Monaco trained Hey Hey Dbay in 1:56.1 – $6.80 for the fastest mile of the day, second win on the year for the Roddys Bags Again that was making her first start at Monticello Raceway. Meadowbrook Krista (Taggart) was second followed by Lady Jericho (M. Merton)
