Sowers) Adam saved the best for last with the favorite Hopnroll Heaven who snatched the lead from pace setter Some Deal Hanover in the Open in 1:54.3 – $3.80, it was the fourth win on the season for the aged Rock N Roll Heaven gelding for owner Morrison Racing Stable who hail from Indiana, PA.
KJ NE (American Ideal) notched his first career win in 2:02 – $2.50 for the tandem of Jim Taggart and Gary Messenger, the 3-year-old gelding is owned by Scott Woogen and Brenda Messenger, The 13-1 Yankee On The Move (Mike Merton) won in 1:55.1 over Gino Sniper for his fourth seasonal win for the winning connections of owners Jay & Melissa Appelblatt and trainer Rob Harmon, he was claimed by Anthony Regina. Leading driver Mike Merton also had a driving double on the card.
