This afternoons Open Trot saw Consus Victory and Mike Merton lead every step of the mile with moderate fractions enroute to a 2 length victory over Credit List (B. Parker) and Win & Dream (T. Merton) The well bred son of Cantab Hall was recently claimed from the Frank Yanoti barn 2 starts ago, for new owners Jay & Melissa Appelblatt of Brooklyn. NY. The 8 year old gelding is trained by Rob Harmon and was driven by Mike Merton, it was one of 3 winning drives on the card by Mike Merton
