Flow With Joe Takes Open

This week’s Open Pace was minus So Rock N Roll after 3 wins in this class, KJ Hunter was scratched, Flow With Joe left strongly as did Chanteplure who opted for the garden spot. Flow With Joe reeled off fractions of 28.2 – 57.4. Before the half, Beebeetee rushed up to come first over as the positions on the front end remained unchanged. Going down the backside Thisishowwedotit (M. Merton) made a bold move towards to the top, Beebeetee (F. Paquet) started to wilt near the next panel in 1:26. Turning for home Flow With Jo was still in command with a comfortable lead of 2 lengths with Chantepleure still in tow, he was still strong at the end and won by 3 lengths in 1:54.1 – $3.80. Chantepleure (J. Devaux) held on for second and Some Deal Hanover (B. Aldrich) got up for third.
Flo With Joe is trained by Art Green and owned by William Emmons. It was his 3rd consecutive win for the 7 year old Roll With Joe gelding , he was driven by Greg Merton who also had 2 other winners on the card.
Gandy Dancer (G. Merton) picked up a new lifetime mark of 1:58.3, the 3 YO son of Huntsville is owned and trained by Mark Ford, the speed demon Daamericansky won his fourth consecutive race with Greg Merton in the bike for trainer Andrew Adamczyk in 1:55.1. Perfect Queen T. (Merton) went wire to wire for her fifth win on the year in 1:55.3 for trainer Tiffany Barrett.
