The dash for the cash in the Sire Stakes highlights some talented fillies, the early morning line favorite is Cowgirl Hanover (PP2) she sports a perfect resume with 3 wins in as many starts, she took her division of Sire Stake at Buffalo in 1:57.4, defeating Americanbeachdream.  She is trained by Jared Bako and will be driven by Scott Zeron in the bike.  Send It In Slim (PP4) was a winner in her last effort in her first Sire Stakes contest for trainer Ray Schnittker at Buffalo in 1:58.3, Mark MacDonald will drive the daughter of Huntsville for owners Grozona Racing Stable. All Hail The Queen (PP3) is making her pari mutual debut after a pair of impressive winning qualifying races at Monticello, the Courtly Choice freshman is looking to lower her personal best of 1:57.2, she is trained by Shane Tritton and will be driven by Jason Bartlett.

The card also offer 3 heats of Excelsior action in races 2, 4 & 9, in the first heat there are a pair of fillys that have won in both qualifying races, from the rail is The Perfume (2:00 – J. Bartlett) she has pair of winning efforts at Vernon Downs as does Moonshine Express (2:00.1 – S. Zeron) On Cloud Nine scored in her Excelsior dash last start in 1:59.3 at Buffalo for Ray Schnittker.  Cervi has been installed as the favorite in her heat, race 4, the Huntsville filly is dropping down in class for the Team of Schnittker & MacDonald.

The final Excelsior race is between Besta Brynn (PP1) Bukvillkidunotedna (PP3) Besta Brynn earned a Sire Stakes blanket win in a winning effort in her last outing, a 2:00.1 score at Buffalo, the In The Arsenal lass is trained and driven by Ronald Houghtaling. The local horse, Bukvillkidunotedna will be driven by Jim Marohn Jr. for the Crevani Farm, the American Ideal offspring finished second in her last outing at Buffalo in this class.
