The afternoon’s card offered 2 $7,500 Open Trots, the first dash in race 1, saw the favorite Doo Wop Kid lead from start to finish in a 1:58.3 – $ 3.50 score for owner, trainer and driver Alan Schwartz to score in 1:58.3 – $3.50, turning back Woodside Genius (J. Taggart. Jr) for his 8th win on the year.

The other Open saw KJ Kyra made a break again leaving the gate along with Jack Fire who went off stride coming out of the first turn. Ackles Hanover (Aldrich) were the first to the front and set the tempo with splits of 29.1, 1:00.4. Woolco was the first to come first over at the half and remained there throughout, the ¾ time was 1:30. Despite being parked for a half mile Woolco needed every foot of race track as he score by a sliver in a tight photo over Ackles Hanover in 1:59.2 – $3.20 Win And Dream (Devaux) finished 3rd.

CR Dudley took advantage of a garden trip behind Statement to score in 1:59 – $11.00 for owner Christina Klein, the winning driver was Rick Harp. Fated Future has put together a 4 race win streak after her winning performance in 1:59.3 with Greg Merton in the bike, the Betting Line filly is trained by Nick Devita for owner Andrew Herzog of Monticello, NY. All around good guy, Greg Decker won with Jumpshot in 2:01. – $ 14.00.
