Perfect Queen notched her first win of the 2025 season this afternoon by a nose in with a wire-to-wire winning performance in a blanket finish over Infinity Seelster (J. Taggart Jr.) and Suge (M. Sowers) in 1:59.3 – $4.20. She was driven by her regular pilot Thomas Merton.  The 6-year-old daughter of American Ideal is coming off a career best year that saw her earn almost $75,000 and reached the winners circle 9 times for owner trainer Tiffany Barrett.

Fair Glider seems like to like the new scenery after being claimed a few weeks ago, today he scored his second win in 3 starts in the new barn of Tammy Sowers and was driven by McGwire Sowers in 2:02.4 – $2.30. Beyond the Lens (J. Taggart Jr.) scored for trainer Art Jones in 2:02.3 – $9.20.

The 8-race card saw all of the Merton Brothers record winners this afternoon, Mike and Thomas Merton each bagged driving doubles, Greg had a single, leading trainer Tammy Sowers had a pair of winners.
