Ackles Hanover nabbed his third win of the year in the cards feature race (June 18) the $9,300 Open Trot. Woodside Genius made a break behind the gate just as the race was ready to start, the favorite Promise For Life also made a break going into the first turn. Ackles Hanover started from the rail went to the lead and led every step of the mile enroute to a 2:03.2 win on sticky oval with Bruce Aldrich in the bike for trainer Art Green. Psalmsfourtysixfive (S. Keppler) was second and Promise For Life (J. Devaux) rebounded and finished third.

Last Mach (Tom Merton) pulled off a 65-1 shocker scored in 1:59.4 and returned $132.50, Kourageous Key (1:56 – M. Merton) extended his win streak to 5 straight for trainer Todd Buter, Giddyupango (1:59.4 – K. Dibenedetto) made is 3 in a row in the opener for trainer Sarah Osmeloski.

Kyle Dibenedetto and Bruce Aldrich Jr. each recorded driving doubles.
