The cards featured race was the Open for Fillies and Mares worth $8,300, the first quarter saw Dash N Cache parked 3 deep by the 1/5 favorite PL Princess C to the first Q in 27.1. Scott Kepler and Dash N Cached eventually made to the top at the half in 55, second quarter in 27.4. Down the backside Jim Taggart Jr. and PL Princess C came first over in 1:24.3, turning for home the tempo setting Dash N Cache had enough and folded. Don’t Chip Me rallied up the passing lane to get the win in 1:56.0 – $17.92. It was Don’t Chip Me ninth win on the year for trainer Laura Aldrich Jr.

Owner – Trainer – Breeder and Driver, Ray Barnes had a double with Brickyard Rally in 1:59.2 – $ 10.62 & Brickyard Beacon 1:58.4 – $ 3.94.

The well-bred Savage LP (G. Merton) broke his maiden this afternoon with a win in 2:01- $11.18 for trainer Ed Hart. Savage LP is a 3 year old gelded son of Chapter Seven out of the Muscle Hill mare, Heart N Soul Deo.

Prior to the first race there was a Toteboard delay, total pool for the first race was $106,978.
