Today’s card was an 8 race affair, in the 6th race, the heavy favorite Very Busy (PP4) broke stride leaving the gate and it looked like his fate was sealed and his afternoon was over. After going off stride, he went to the far outside and regained stride and started his trek to g back into the race. At the half he caught the pack and was first over as Finnick Odair (R. Cushing) showed the way. At the ¾ he found a spot along the rail and tucked in the 2 hole, that didn’t last for long as he was right back out and motored home a winner in 2:02. – $2.56, a 3 year old son of Tactical Landing and is owned, trained and driven by Pierre Bovay. Suge (G. Merton) scored a 7-length win in 1:56.3- $3.06 for his 9th seasonal win for trainer Peter Pellegrino.
Fourth place leading driver, Kyle Dibenedetto scored a driving double.
