Vincent Campolong Notches 1st Career Driving win

Vincent Campolong garnered his first lifetime win aboard the aptly named Itzalldowntoluck N in 1:59.3 – $14.04 at Monticello Raceway on Thursday December 11. The 35-year-old resin men currently hold a (P) Provisional License, It did not take him long to get the cherished first win, today was his 5^th lifetime driver start.  Vincent is also the Owner and trainer of his mount, as a trainer her has collected 8 wins in his brief 2 year career with earnings of $61,052, Congrats Vinny!

Third leading trainer Tammy Sowers had a busy day in the paddock with 10 horses into go this afternoon; she finished the days with 5 training wins, 2 place and 1 show finish. She won races 8, 9 10 & 11 in succession.

Jimmy Devaux had a driving triple, Thomas Merton took both halves of the early Daily Double aboard, Hes Rocking Ralphie in 2:02.4 – $9.04 and the 32/1, The Last Song in 1:59.3 – $ 65.46 for his second consecutive win for trainer Tammy Sowers.

Getaway almost went winless for the year; he waited for the last few weeks of the year but finally got a 3-length win for Owner – Trainer – Driver Shane Taggart in 2:00.2 – $25.14.
