First Race Day of 2026

The first Race day of 2026 was an 11 race card that saw the 10-1 In My Dreams (M. Merton) who wasted no time in getting his first win of the year after a 2:01-$20.18 for trainer Rob Harmon.

A familiar face was back in todays’ program was McGwire Sowers who made his return to the Mighty M, a winning one with Forever A Flirt, 1:58.4 – $12.06 trained by Tammy Sowers. Lady Chrislyn made it 2 straight (B. Quevedo) 2:00.4 -$15.14 or trainer Jim Doherty Jr.  – Wilson (G. Merton) also made it 2 in a row after a win in 2:03 for trainer Rogelio Dominquez.

All of the Sowers Clan had winners, McGwire had a winning drive aboard Forever A Flirt trained by his mother Tammy and McKenzie had a Wow Love who had the most impressive win on the card via being parked the entire mile and still had enough in the tank to get the win in 2:01.1 – $3.02

Kyle Dibenedetto & Bruce Aldrich Jr. each had a pair of winning drives.
