After an almost week long drought and pursuit, Greg Merton need just 2 races to nab his 6,000 win, today the dry spell was over and he won 2 races back to back, the second one was the most important one was aboard Lana Desire for win # 6,000 Congratulation Greg!

Ackles Hanover took the featured race of the day in the $7,500 Open Trot in 2:00.1 – $8.48 for driver Greg Merton and trainer Art Green, DC Anna (B. Aldrich Jr) was second followed by Kilimanjaro NL (T. Merton)

Do It Right is the winningest horse in the nation after his 6^th consecutive win on todays’ sloppy card, the 8 year old by Bettors Delights is owned and trained by Autym Sowers and was driven to the win by McGwire Sowers in  2:01.2 – $2.42. Muscle Detector lit up the tote board with a 33-1 win 2:05.1 – $67.22 for Owner – Driver Scott Keppler, the 5 year old gelding is trained by Raheim Strong.

Art Green had a pair of winners on the 10 race card, Bruce Aldrich Jr. the first and last race of the afternoon which leave him just 2 wins shy of career win #9,000
