In her last start in the Filly & Mares Open she cut the mile and was nipped at the wire by Razzin Jazz. This week she used the same tactic and it worked out in her favor after taking the lead from Wish I Had Thyme past the opening quarter. Turning for home she lead by 2 lengths, she had to fight off a determined Wish I Had Thyme in order to get the win in a new season record of 1:57.1 – 7.30. Mike Merton drove the winner for trainer Rob Harmon.

Beyond The Lens (M. Merton) gave trainer Art Jones his second win on the year, after a wire to wire score in 2:02.4-$ 20.20. Home’N Dry (B. Aldrich Jr.) made it two straight this afternoon with a tight win over Simon Got Lucky in 2:01.4 – 6.26

Mike Merton and Bruce Aldrich Jr. were the leadings drivers of the card, with 2 winners each.
