The afternoons 9 race card was highlighted by the $9,000 Open Pace, Tahuya Handsome was scratched sick. This afternoon he reeled off 3 consecutive wins, aboard Bug Juice 1:58.3 – $ $2.96, Sicano and Smoking Hot dude in 1:55.4 – $7.64, leading all drivers on the day.

A pair of horse earned their first lifetime pari mutal wins this afternoon, Glorious Morning (T. Merton) got his first pari mutual win in 1:59 – $26.02, the 3YO by Captain Crunch is trained by Richard Dunn. Sicano (R. Silvestri III) earned his milestone in just his second lifetime start, the 3 YO gelded son of So Surreal is trainer by Al Annuziata won in 1:58.4 – $ 3.48 Great Bet (J. Taggart) extended his win streak to 3 after his 1:55.1- $3.34 for trainer Jennifer Petrelli.
