The afternoons Open Trot was carded as the Terry Grey Trot, Terry has been a faithful fan of Harness Racing and the Mighty M going on 40 years. The Gary Messenger trained son of EL Titan has now extended his win streak to 4 straight after his wire to wire win over the favorite DC Anna (B. Aldrich Jr.) and Barn Credit (M Merton) in 1:56.2- $4.42, in the process the 4 year old mare picked up a new lifetime speed badge.
Also on the car were 2 divisions of the second leg of the NAADA, the 2 local boys took home top honors. Alan Schwartz took the first heat driving Everybodyluvjoe by a head in 1:59.4 – $ 5.48 and Scott Keppler took the other aboard Baby Tao in 1:59.1 – $13.84. Rock A Honey (T. Merton) $2.54 made it 2 straight for trainer Veronica Merton and owner Chris Elia in the finale with a season best win time of 1:55.4
