Scott Keppler picked off where he ended on Monday, he won the last race on Mondays card and today he took the opener aboard Your Brother in 1:55.4 -$6.90 it was a season’s best time for the Raheim Strong trainee. He then took today’s finale with Brendas Delight in 1:57,2 – $5.68 for her fourth win on the year.

The 9-race card was highlighted by the Open Pace with a purse of $9,000 with a field of 7.  When the gate left the field was in post-position order going to the opening panel 27.4 Buy In (R. Silvestri III) was the first to come first over approaching the half 57.2 with Scribblers and Bruce Aldrich Jr. continuing to show the way,  passing their next station at 1:25.2.  Turning for home, Smoking Hot Dude (R. Cushing) who enjoyed a perfect garden trip found clear passage and overtook the pacesetter, tripping the beam in 1:53.4-$6.18.  Lupa (G. Merton) finished third. Smoking Hot Dude is trained by Jim Doherty Jr.

Come On Barbie made her connections very happy after her inaugural first pair mutual start a winning one in 1:59.3 -$2.92, the grey 3-year-old American Ideal filly was driven by Lauren Tritton.
