The beautiful afternoon 10 race card saw the co-favorite KJ Hunter and Jim Taggart Jr. go wire to wire in a brisk 1:53.3 – $6.58 in the $9,000 Open Pace, defeating Jahan Hanover (M. Merton) and Smoking Hot Dude (K. Dibenedetto) it was a new lifetime mark for the Gary Messenger trained son on Huntsville.

Greg Decker Jr. continues to climb in the trainer standings, this afternoon he notched his 32 seasonal win with Full Disclosure (J. Taggart Jr.) in 1:54.4 – $3.96, he is now tied with James Doherty Jr. in sixth spot. Greg The Leg (G. Merton) now has 3 consecutive wins after his 8 length score in 1:53.3, he is trained by Jody Riedel. Brand Ambassador (M. Merton)  a 3 year old son of Tall Dark Stranger broke his maiden in a NW of 1 in 1:59.1 – $8.58, the colt is trained by Frank Calcagni.

Jim Taggart Jr. led all drivers with a triple and Mike Merton had a double.
