Leading Drive Mike Merton had a Grand Slam this afternoon and won half the races on the card. Mike won race 3 with American Sniper 1:58.2 – $3.30 who notched his first seasonal win for trainer Robert Lounsbury.  After 2 race hiatus he came back and won the final 3 races on the card with College Hanover 1:56.4 – $19.00, the son of Well Said earned his second win on the year for trainer Richard Dunn.  Next up came All It Takes 1:57.2 – $3.30 who scored in a 2 length win for trainer Candace Brandstatter, Merton capped off the day by winning the finale aboard Coalford Bythesea 1:56.1 – $2.30 by a whisker over Alwaysshowfaith.

Brandon Parker Took both half’s of the early double aboard Teeter 1:59 – $2.90 and Gypsy Leather 1:57.2 – $7.50.

Road Map shed his role as bridesmaid, after finishing second in 5 consecutive starts this afternoon he finally got to the winners circle for Owner – Trainer Steve Moore with a 1:56.1 – $2.50 win.
