The 16-1 Proudamericangirl (T. Merton) scored in a tight photo 3-horse photo in 1:57.3 – $34.12 for trainer & owner Richard Campolong, SUGE (G. Merton) finished second. It was the 8-year-old mare’s fifth win on the year and pushed her yearly tally to over $25,000. Icarus Falls was in the same race and finished third, she was thwarted in her effort for her 17^th win on the year.

Very Busy, a 3 year old of Tactical Landing, driven by Jim Taggart lowered his lifetime mark to 1:59.2 – $5.38 for trainer Pierre Bovay. Feeriedesbroutsfr (T. Merton) equaled his lifetime best of 2:01.1 – $5.00 for trainer Robert Krivelin

A trio of driver’s record doubles on the 9 race card. Jim Taggart, Kyle Dibenedetto and Thomas Merton. After winning nearly half of the card last Thursday Tammy Sowers came right back with a duo of winner today with Party At Seven (M. Merton) 2:02.1 – $8.40 & Forever A Flirt in 1:57.2 – $ 5.60, the fastest mile of the day

Wagering was brisk this afternoon, going into the day with a $10,000 carryover in the first race, the 9 race card garnered $476,930 with a per race average of $52,000.
