The 10 race card was highlighted by the $9,000 Open Pace with a full field of 8 behind the gate, saw a dead heat in 1:54.4 between Vel Trust In Time (M. Merton) -$3.34 & That Dog Will Hunt (Scott Keppler) $5.38. Feelin Western (G. Merton) finished third.
One Pushy Broad 31-1 broke her maiden via a marred race when 2 horses got tangled up at the top of the lane, the 3 year old daughter of Proof (K. Dibebedetto) scored in 2:00.4 for Jose Castillo. Kyle Dibenedetto would go on to win the next 2 races also aboard Vel Quick Daisy in 1:57.3 – $ 15.94 and Tahuya Handsome in 1:55.2 – $7.92. Vel Miss Taylor was claimed for the third consecutive week for the revolving door between Cliff Grundy and Mike Austin.
Tommy Merton scored with his own horse Blackjack Dragon in the finale, It was reported that both, horses and drivers are ok following the minor mishap in race 6.
